SDD Installation

SDD Installation:



  • Download code from web site

  • Move the downloaded files to the /usr/sys/inst.images

  • Change directory

  • Untar using tar –xvf devices.sdd.52.rte.tar

  • Update the .toc file

  • Using Smitty install_update install the SDD

    dear prasad sir, some confusions are there .....

    between SDDPCM and SDD .

    we have to install either SDDPCM or SDD fileset packages for configuring multipathing.

    or we can install both.

    need some detailed information about both.
